Tyler’s Pic of the…Past Two Months?

I’ve been a total delinquent about posting lately. So here’s a totally gratuitous, random photo of Tyler in his wedding tuxedo (ours, not his) from New Year’s Eve so I don’t feel guilty about not having posted in the past two weeks.

And here’s a pic of mon coeur in the same tux from our wedding day. It still fits!

And here’s a family wedding pic because…well, pourquoi pas?

New Public Relations Client: Capsule

Capsule HP
New Year, New Client! I’m so excited to announce that Capsule has hired me to do PR. So what is this Capsule thing anyway?

When it comes to weddings, it can be hard for a couple and their guests to see all those pictures from that event. I mean – who can even keep track of all those photos popping up in their Facebook timeline, Twitter feed, etc? And who wants to see photos from a wedding you weren’t invited to anyway?

That’s where Capsule comes in. Capsule is an app available on iPhones and Androids that lets folks instantly add photos to a shared, central album with no uploading required. Those people can then interact with each other (no need to worry about nosy non-attendees seeing those wild bachelorette photos), comment, order prints, download hi-resolution copies, and even share to their own social networks if they want. It’s the perfect app for weddings!

Can’t wait to share more about it.

Officially a Freelancer!

This Monday was my last full-time day as the PR Director at XO Group Inc. (most famous for the #1 wedding brand The Knot) – a company I’ve loved working at for the past five years. Since there’s no XO bureau in Paris, I decided to try the freelance route. instead of being a bored lady who lunches (at home, alone).

So when one door closes, another opens! I officially started working on my brand new client Tejani yesterday. If you’ve never seen Urvi Prunier’s wedding jewelry collection – it’s perfect for brides on a budget who have an eye for gorgeous designer pieces. I wish I had worn her pieces on my wedding day five years ago! One of my favorite things is they actually have bangles in different sizes… perfect for us small-wristed girls.
