Moving to Paris meant I had to give up my fabulous PR Director job at XO Group Inc., but luckily enough, they kept me on as a freelancer for the year. One of the projects I worked on was our annual The Knot Gala – the event for the wedding industry where 900+ people gather at the New York Public Library to celebrate.
Not only did I book a national TV show to film the event for their premier episode (airing sometime in 2013!), but BizBash ran a little piece on the beautiful event today!
This Monday was my last full-time day as the PR Director at XO Group Inc. (most famous for the #1 wedding brand The Knot) – a company I’ve loved working at for the past five years. Since there’s no XO bureau in Paris, I decided to try the freelance route. instead of being a bored lady who lunches (at home, alone).
So when one door closes, another opens! I officially started working on my brand new client Tejani yesterday. If you’ve never seen Urvi Prunier’s wedding jewelry collection – it’s perfect for brides on a budget who have an eye for gorgeous designer pieces. I wish I had worn her pieces on my wedding day five years ago! One of my favorite things is they actually have bangles in different sizes… perfect for us small-wristed girls.
