There was a free CPR training course by rue de Lévis over the weekend by the French Red Cross. I’ve been wanting to learn CPR for a while so signed me and Rio right up. The poor Frenchie instructor did the whole 30-minute course in English for his first time since Rio doesn’t speak French, and did a great job. One interesting thing we learned is that they don’t teach you mouth-to-mouth. Apparently, it’s best to just keep pushing on the chest (100 presses per minute to the beat of Stayin’ Alive) and leave the mouth-to-mouth to the professionals since most people don’t do it properly and fully get air into the person’s lungs.
Here I am, CPR-certified!
