It’s hard finding many good restaurants open on Sunday night, so after returning from Loire Valley last Sunday night, we had to scrounge up what we could at whatever stores were open. Luckily, one of the boulangeries still was, so we managed to get a couple of baguettes, macarons and a not-so-great mozzarella & tomato salad. The rest, we bought at what I call the French bodega – 8 à Huit – they seem to be the only place that’s open every day and late at night. It ended up being the perfect Sunday night dinner.
